Everton’s Ross Barkley is reportedly wanted by Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea in the January transfer window.

The England international looked set to join Chelsea from the Toffees on transfer deadline day, but the move fell through.
Everton majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri told Sky Sports that the Toffees had agreed a £35 million deal with Premier League rivals Chelsea over the transfer of Barkley on deadline day.
Moshiri added that at the medical on transfer deadline day, the agent of the 23-year-old informed the club that the attacking midfielder had changed his mind.

It has now been reported by The Times that both Tottenham and Chelsea will make moves for Barkley in the January transfer window.
Former Manchester City and Queens Park Rangers forward Rodney Marsh has taken to social networking site Twitter to respond to the speculation.
Marsh has suggested on Twitter that Spurs and Chelsea should wait until the end of the season to sign Barkley.
As things stand, the 23-year-old’s current contract with Everton runs out next summer.
