Tottenham Hotspur lost to Manchester City in the Premier League on Monday.

Rodney Marsh has stated on Twitter that Tottenham Hotspur were ordinary against Manchester City.
Tottenham suffered a 1-0 defeat at the hands of City at the Wembley Stadium in London in the Premier League on Monday evening.
Riyad Mahrez’s goal as early as the sixth minute proved to be the difference between the two sides.
Former City forward Marsh was following the match, and he said on Twitter that Spurs were ordinary.
The former Queens Park Rangers forward has also claimed that 33-year-old Brazil international defensive midfielder Fernandinho and 24-year-old central defender Aymeric Laporte were superb for Pep Guardiola’s side.

Harsh
It is a bit harsh to claim that Tottenham were ordinary, as Spurs did have their chances and did not let City roll all over them.
City, though, were the better team, and there is no doubt that they deservedly picked up all three points from the encounter.
The result will raise question marks on Tottenham’s title credentials, but the North London outfit are very much in the race for the Premier League top four.
