Rodney Marsh reminds the Liverpool midfielder of the 4-1 victory over Manchester City in the Premier League last season.

Former Manchester City forward Rodney Marsh has mocked Liverpool attacking midfielder Adam Lallana on social networking site Twitter.
Lallana has suggested on Liverpool’s official website that the victory over Leicester City at the weekend has set the standard for the kind of performances the Reds must produce on a consistent basis at Anfield this season.
Jurgen Klopp’s side got the better of English champions Leicester City 4-1 at Anfield in the Premier League on Saturday evening.
“Collectively as a team I thought we were outstanding,” Lallana told Liverpool’s official website after the match. “We got the two goals in the first half but let them back in with some sloppy play from ourselves.
“It was no-one’s fault and as a team we probably didn’t manage the game as well as we should have at 2-0 and gave them a few sniffs.
“We said that at half-time and I thought in the second half we were outstanding again, on the front foot and got the goals at the right time. We’ve set the tempo for what we want Anfield to be like this season.”

Marsh has mocked Lallana’s comments on Twitter by reminding him of Liverpool’s win against City last season.
In November 2015, the Merseyside outfit hammered the Citizens 4-1 away from home at the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League.
Much was expected of the Reds following that win, but in the end, they ended up eighth in the Premier League table.
As for City, they finished fourth in the standings and will feature in the Champions League this season.

Liverpool will return to action on Friday evening when they take on Chelsea away from home at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League.
