Liverpool got the better of City 4-3 at Anfield in the Premier League to inflict upon Pep Guardiola’s side their first loss of the league campaign this season.
Former City forward Marsh was following the match, and he was impressed with the performance of the Reds.
Meanwhile, former Liverpool striker Michael Owen has picked his favourite goal of the match at Anfield.


Over the course of the 90 minutes at Anfield on Sunday evening, hosts Liverpool had just 36% of the possession, took 16 shots of which seven were on target, and earned five corners, according to BBC Sport.
Visitors City had 64% of the possession, took 11 shots of which four were on target, and earned six corners, according to BBC Sport.
The result means that City are now at the top of the Premier League table, while Liverpool are currently third in the standings.
