Sadio Mane scored and won a penalty for Liverpool as they maintained their 100% start to the new Premier League season.

Rodney Marsh has hit out at ‘dopey defenders’ for tackling in the box as he suggested that Sadio Mane dived for his penalty during Liverpool’s 2-1 win against Leicester City.
The former Manchester City striker also stated that if ‘you don’t dive’ then you don’t win penalties following that Mane controversy.
It’s an incident that has got a lot of people talking because of how the incident unfolded, the timing of it and how it ended up costing Brendan Rodgers side a point.
Nonetheless, this was Marsh’s take on the whole incident, as he was seemingly hinting at the possibility that Mane dived.
After the penalty was awarded in stoppage-time, James Milner stepped up and delivered the goods for his team.
It is a much-needed three points for Jurgen Klopp’s side because it means that they have now opened up an eight-point gap on their rivals Manchester City.
That can be cut down to five points when Pep Guardiola’s side host Wolves on Sunday, but this so far perfect start from Liverpool will be putting the smiles on the fans faces.
After the international break, Liverpool will take on their old enemy Manchester United, who have been struggling for a number of seasons now.
But given the magnitude of the game, United will be hoping to put Liverpool’s winning run to an end when they visit Old Trafford later on this month.
