Everton have snapped up striker Moise Kean from Juventus.

Everton have completed the deal many have been waiting for, as striker Moise Kean was announced as a new Toffees player on Sunday.

It’s been clear for some time now that Everton needed a new striker, as whilst Dominic Calvert-Lewin is a hard-working forward, he’s not a natural goalscorer.

Oumar Niasse and Cenk Tosun simply aren’t good enough, and Everton have been pursuing a marquee signing to lead the attack for Marco Silva’s side.

For weeks now, Everton have been seeking a deal for Juventus striker Moise Kean, with just one year left on his deal with the Italian giants.

Juve were demanding a buy-back clause in any move, but Everton managed to convince them to sell without one, instead inserting a first option into the deal – meaning Juve can match any accepted bid for Kean in the future.

This is one of the most exciting moves of the transfer window so far, almost reminiscent of when Everton signed Romelu Lukaku, as both players had built reputations as exciting strikers in Europe.

Kean, 19, will now look to show just why he has so much hype, and why Everton have paid so much money to sign him, and it’s sparked reactions from pundits on Twitter.

Rodney Marsh has taken to Twitter to back Kean to be a £100million player within three years, believing it’s a hugely exciting move – and Everton fans will have had some fun, giving that Marsh dismissed the notion of Kean signing for the club just days ago, feeling he could ‘do better’ than the Toffees.
