Rodney Marsh believes the 19-year-old will leave the Reds for a ‘really top club’ within the next two years.
Former Manchester City forward Rodney Marsh is adamant Raheem Sterling will leave Liverpool within the next two years.
The 19-year-old has shone since moving to Anfield, with a new contract reportedly being discussed.
But Marsh feels Sterling is destined to leave the Reds in the near future. He believes the winger will move to a ‘really top club’ and become a ‘super player.’
“I know I am going to get pelted by Liverpool supporters but I don’t see Raheem Sterling being a Liverpool player in the next two years,” Marsh told talkSPORT.
“I think he will leave Liverpool and go to a really top club.
“I think Sterling is so good and, if he is playing with the right players, at the right level, he could go on to be a top, super player.”
Manchester City are currently second in the Premier League, while Liverpool are in ninth place, four points behind City.
