Queens Park Rangers host Brentford at Loftus Road on Friday.

Rodney Marsh has said on Twitter that he fancies Queens Park Rangers to beat Brentford 2-1 on Friday.
Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink’s side could potentially move one point adrift of the top six on Friday if they beat the Bees in the London derby at Loftus Road.
By the same token, Brentford, who also have 19 points from 14 Championship games, could also move a point off the playoff spots, but QPR definitely have the form.

The R’s go into the game after losing one of their last six Championship games – a 1-0 defeat at Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday – but Brentford have only managed one victory from their previous half-a-dozen outings under Dean Smith.
Consequently, Marsh, who spent six years at Loftus Road as a player, has backed QPR to edge out their capital rivals in West London on Friday.

Hasselbaink will be determined to ensure that Saturday’s defeat at Hillsbrough is not the first in a series of losses.
In September, they suffered back-to-back defeats by Newcastle and Huddersfield – the former being a 6-0 demolition – but Rangers bounced back superbly since then.
It will, however, be in vein unless the Dutch manager can draw a line under that setback at Wednesday.
