Rodney Marsh has praised Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum on Twitter for his performance for the Netherlands against Germany on Friday evening.
Wijnaldum, who is an important player for Liverpool, was in action for the Netherlands in their European Championship Qualifying Group C game against Germany in Hamburg.
The 28-year-old former Newcastle United star scored in the first minute of injury time and set up Donyell Malen in the 79th minute for his goal.
Although the midfielder did not have a great game in the first half, he stepped up after the break and was a force to be reckoned with.
Former Queens Park Rangers and Manchester City forward Marsh was following the match, and he was impressed with the display produced by Wijnaldum.
