It was the Reds’ sixth European Cup triumph and their first under manager Klopp, who also guided the Merseyside outfit to the final of Europe’s premier club competition last season
Former Manchester City forward Marsh has praised Liverpool on Twitter, and believes that the Reds have been magnificent under Klopp.
Liverpool have been superb since Klopp was appointed the manager, and this season was simply brilliant for the Reds.
True, the Merseyside outfit failed to win the Premier League title, but that was by just a single point.
Liverpool were brilliant in the Champions League this season and deservedly won the competition.
The Reds can only get better, and one should not be surprised if Liverpool win the Premier League title next season and clinch the Champions League yet again in 2019-20.
