Former footballer turned pundit Rodney Marsh has urged Ross Barkley to leave Everton to re-rejuvenate his career.
Barkley lost his place in the England squad earlier this season and has struggled for form for the Toffees.

He is entering a critical phase of his career where he needs to start improving, and Marsh believes Barkley’s future is best spent away from Goodison Park.

Quizzed on who would take him on, Marsh argued there are several teams where Barkley could thrive if he left Everton.
Tottenham Hotspur were linked with a big money move for Barkley last week by the London Evening Standard, but the report also claimed he would cost £35 million.
If Tottenham are to consider paying that then Barkley will have to step up his own performances to earn a switch, and if he cannot then the Toffees will have to substantially lower their asking price.
