Rodney Marsh has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Manchester City’s win against Manchester United in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

City registered a narrow 2-1 victory over United in the Manchester derby away from home at Old Trafford.

Pep Guardiola’s side took the lead through Kevin De Bruyne as early as the 15th minute.

Kelechi Iheanacho doubled the advantage for the Citizens on 36 minutes, but Zlatan Ibrahimovic halved the deficit for United six minutes later.

Former City forward Marsh was following the match, and he was pleased with the final result.

Franny Lee, another former City forward, was also following the game, and he has expressed his delight at the win for Guardiola’s team on Twitter.

Visitors City had 60% of the possession, took 18 shots of which six were on target, and earned four corners, according to BBC Sport.
