Chris Sutton has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Brendan Rodgers signing a new contract with Celtic.
As announced on Celtic’s official website this afternoon, Rodgers has signed a new four-year deal which will see him remain in charge of the first team until June 2021.
Former Celtic striker Chris Sutton has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the news.
Rodgers was initially appointed the Celtic manager in the summer of 2016, and he has done a wonderful job at Celtic Park so far.
The former Liverpool manager has already guided the Bhoys to the Scottish Premiership title and the Scottish League Cup.
The Glasgow giants also featured in the group stage of the Champions League this season after two years.
Celtic could complete the domestic treble this season, as they have progressed to the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup.
Former Celtic midfielder Craig Burley has also taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Rodgers’s decision to stay at the Scottish club.
The ESPN pundit, though, seems to have mocked the former Liverpool manager while referring to a story he recently revealed.
