With Celtic riding a fantastic unbeaten run in Scottish domestic football, manager Rodgers needs to stay focused on the goal at hand.
It’s easy to get carried away in football, especially when you are playing as well as Celtic are right now. You can only beat what is put in front of you and the Bhoys are doing just that, currently riding an impressive unbeaten run under manager Brendan Rodgers.
But the important thing for both Rodgers and the team is that they don’t focus on it too much. When you are in a position as strong as this, there can be a tendency to hype up the situation you have created for yourselves. The worst possible thing that this team could do is put too much pressure on themselves and capitulate from within.
General view of Celtic Park
As we all know once you lose one following an unbeaten run, the ball can start rolling and create a ripple effect. Considering the quality of the SPL that may not be the case, but as long as Celtic take things one game at a time then they are likely to be much better off.
People joke and laugh about it being a one horse race, but what they lack in ability up in Scotland they more than make up for with heart.
Celtic fans
The Bhoys certainly have the players and quality necessary to keep this going for a long time, but it isn’t life or death. If they put themselves in a position where the record becomes more important than winning the title again, then it could become a problem, whenever it falls.
