Celtic boast an 11-point lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership.
Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has told the club’s official website that Saturday’s 2-1 win over Dundee at Parkhead represented a “very good result” under the circumstances.
The Hoops maintained their 11-point lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership with a narrow victory in Glasgow yesterday.
Goals from Leigh Griffiths and Nir Bitton either side of half time did the damage, with Marcus Haber grabbing a 69th-minute consolation for the visiting side.

With Celtic set for four league matches in a 14-day period, the Northern Irishman elected to rest a few big names and hold one or two others back as a precautionary measure.
One of those to miss out was captain Scott Brown, who had trained during the week following a hamstring injury but Rodgers decided not to risk the 31-year-old.
And the former Liverpool boss has hailed his side’s victory given that it came in the absence of his “exceptional” skipper.

“With five changes and players coming in who hadn’t played for a long time, and without our skipper, who’s exceptional – and Dundee had a full week to prepare while we had a game in midweek – I thought it was a very good result,” he told Celtic’s website.
The Bhoys face Partick, Hamilton, Ross County and Rangers in a very rigourous end to the calendar year but with the way they’ve been playing, few would doubt four victories.
