Brendan Rodgers must surely be looking to sign a new goalkeeper after Celtic’s Craig Gordon conceded seven on Wednesday night.

Brendan Rodgers must enter the January transfer window and finally admit his mistake by buying a new goalkeeper for Celtic.
The Hoops were smashed 7-1 on Wednesday night, as Craig Gordon failed to prevent Marco Verratti, Dani Alves, Kylian Mbappe from scoring, while Edinson Cavani and Neymar both got their name on the score sheet twice.
The former Sunderland goalkeeper was made to look ridiculous by the PSG attackers, as they took advantage of their dominance to increase their goal tally for the season and have some fun.

Amid reported interest from Premier League giants Chelsea in January, Celtic gave Gordon a new contract that will see the 34-year-old remain at Lennoxtown until the summer of 2020.
But Rodgers should be brave and admit that he has offered Gordon too long a contract, as the goalkeeper’s form has dropped off since being handed a new deal. Conceding 17 goals in five Champions League matches is simply not good enough, no matter what defence you have in front of you.
Rodgers needs to bring in a goalkeeper that he knows well, one that he can trust. That should turn his attention to Napoli veteran Pepe Reina, with whom he worked with during his first season at Liverpool.

The 35-year-old stopper made 39 appearances for Rodgers in all competitions during the 2012-13 season, but is now entering the final months of his Napoli contract which expires in June 2018.
That could allow Celtic to approach the 38-time Spain international from January 1 under the bosman ruling and land Reina on a pre-contract agreement, which would see the experienced stopper join Celtic in the summer.
Adding Reina’s distribution with improve Celtic two-fold in playing out from the back, as Gordon is often criticised with the ball at his feet. His cat-like instincts and shot-stopping abilities would also see the Hoops go one better in the Champions League next season.
Available for nothing, boasts huge experience in the Champions League and knowing Rodgers well, signing Reina would be a massive coup for the Hoops.
