Miranda has completed a move from Wolves to Greek giants Olympiakos for the 2018-19 campaign.

Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Roderick Miranda has posted a heartfelt message on Instagram to the club’s supporters after agreeing a season-long loan move to Greek giants Olympiakos.
The 27-year-old colossus only managed 17 Championship appearances last season as Nuno Espirito Santo guided the Midlands club back into the Premier League as champions of the second division.
He started the campaign as first choice, being named in the starting eleven for the first 14 league games consecutively. But he only managed three league outings from November onwards.
He posted on Instagram after the move was confirmed – just a year after joining the club from Rio Ave for £2.5million (Express & Star) – thanking Wolves fans for their support and predicting Wolves to have a strong 2018-19 campaign.
Wolves have completed a permanent move for Willy Boly, while also boasting centre-backs Danny Batth, Ryan Bennett and Conor Coady. Indeed, Santo has the money and the backing to sign a new defender if required.
Miranda has a contract at Wolves until the summer of 2021 and it remains to be seen if he will indeed see that out until the end, but he will now spend the second year of that deal in Greece.
