Roy Keane raved about Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson on ITV (9:07pm, December 4, 2022) following his performance for England against Senegal at the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
The Manchester United legend said that Liverpool and England international midfielder Henderson has always delivered, and described him as an excellent player.
Henderson scored for England in their comfortable win against Senegal in the Round of 16 at the World Cup.
England will now face France for a place in the semi-finals.

Keane said about Henderson: “I never had any about Jordan. He has always produced. He is a rock-solid professional player.”
The pundit added: “Jordan is an excellent player, and just as important, excellent character and personality.”
Important player
Jordan Henderson is 32 now and is past his prime, but the midfielder still remains an important player for Liverpool and England.
The former Sunderland star is a leader in the middle of the park and is hugely experienced.
Henderson can still impose himself in midfield and make it solid.
While Jude Bellingham was England’s best player against Senegal, Henderson played his role in midfield.
It will be interesting to see if England head coach Gareth Southgate includes the Liverpool star in the starting lineup against France in the semi-finals of the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
