The Reds face the QPR in the Championship at the City Ground on Saturday and the left-back, once of the R’s, is quietly confident his new side can triumph.

Nottingham Forest left-back Jack Robinson has claimed that his side can “blow QPR out of the water” when his former employers come to town on Saturday.
The 25-year-old was on the books at Queens Park Rangers between 2014 and 2018, making 42 appearances for them in that time, according to Transfermarkt.
Robinson spent the 2014-15 season on loan at Huddersfield but from then on turned out solely for the R’s before his switch to Forest earlier this year.
The full-back has become an integral part of Forest’s line-up, making 21 appearances in all competitions so far, scoring once and clocking up 1,738 minutes of football for the Reds (Transfermarkt).
Forest have claimed just one point from their last two games – the solid draw at rivals Derby and the loss to Preston – and will embark on four games in quick succession as part of the busy festive period.

Speaking to the official club website ahead of Saturday’s game against QPR at the City Ground, Robinson is eager to make amends for his side’s last match on home soil – the PNE defeat – and despite saying the west Londoners will be tough, he remains quietly confident of success.
“All you can do is learn from your mistakes and that is what we have done,” he said. “QPR have put some good results together lately so it is going to be a tough game on Saturday.
“If we just carry on playing our normal game and if we are on fire on the day then we will blow QPR out of the water as we have such a strong squad and a strong team that we can beat anyone in this league.”
