Leeds United have tied up two signings this weekend, and both appear to be major coups for the Elland Road side.
The Whites have broken their transfer record to sign Rodrigo from Valencia, bringing the striker in to bolster Marcelo Bielsa’s attack.
Now, Leeds have also added defender Koch, signing him from Freiburg in a deal worth up to £13million according to BBC Sport.
Koch, 24, has signed a four-year deal with the Whites, and arrives having been one of the Bundesliga’s top centre backs.
A tall, quick and elegant defender, Koch is the natural replacement for Ben White in the Leeds defence – and he already knows one Elland Road star.

Koch played alongside Leeds midfielder Mateusz Klich at Kaiserslautern in 2015, and he contacted the Pole ahead of his move to Leeds.
Koch has told BBC Sport that Klich raved about boss Bielsa, suggesting that he makes everyone better – and that’s part of why he has made the move.
“I talked to the players and Klich said ‘yeah, the coach really makes us better’. I heard that from a lot of people, but to hear it directly from a player under him, it was good for me,” said Koch.
