Robin Koch sends 5-word tweet to Leeds United after West Ham result

Leeds United central defender Robin Koch has urged his teammates on Twitter not to get too disappointed at the defeat to West Ham United.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side have suffered a 2-1 loss at the hands of West Ham at Elland Road in the Premier League this evening.

The West Yorkshire club went ahead after just six minutes when Mateusz Klich found the back of the net from the penalty spot.

However, West Ham made a strong comeback. Tomas Soucek made it 1-1 on 25 minutes, and Angelo Ogbonna scored what proved to be the winner in the 80th minute.

Koch is injured at the moment, and the Germany international central defender has sent a message to everyone at Leeds, urging them to keep going.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Elland Road on Friday evening, hosts Leeds had 64% of the possession, took 13 shots of which seven were on target, and earned five corners, according to BBC Sport.

Visitors West Ham had 36% of the possession, took 19 shots of which eight were on target, and earned six corners, according to BBC Sport.
