Leeds United have completed the signing of Freiburg defender Robin Koch – and he has taken to Twitter to react.
The Whites snapped up Valencia striker Rodrigo in a club-record deal, and followed that up by signing Koch.
The Daily Mail note that Leeds have paid an initial £11.5million to sign Koch, with the deal possibly rising to £13million over time.
Koch has signed a four-year deal at Leeds having said his goodbyes to the Freiburg squad on Friday, and marks a real coup for the Whites.
The 24-year-old is a German international and one of the Bundesliga’s top centre backs, having starred at Freiburg.
Leeds needed to bring in a new centre back after Ben White returned to Brighton and Hove Albion, and Koch fits the bill.

He is tall at 6ft 4in, he’s quick and composed on the ball, and he has the potential to develop under Marcelo Bielsa – all whilst coming in for a more than reasonable price.
Koch posted a couple of tweets after securing his move, noting that it was time for a new challenge and wants to bring a ‘bright future’ to the city of Leeds.
