Andy Robertson has revealed that Adam Lallana was Liverpool’s best trainer during his time on Merseyside.
Lallana’s six-year spell as a Reds player came to an end this past summer when he was released after his contract expired.
The former Liverpool attacker wound up joining Brighton & Hove Albion.
Lallana was by no means the biggest player at Anfield based on profile, given that Jurgen Klopp boasts a squad comprising of the likes of Virgil van Dijk, Alisson, Sadio Mane and Mo Salah.
But left-back Robertson has claimed that he was one of the biggest on the training ground.
Asked about Liverpool’s best trainer on Wingmen, the Scot said: “Nah, I’ll tell you who we’ll give it to. A man that has sadly left us. A man that has gone onto pastures new, Adam Lallana. Brings the noise every single session.”
The 32-year-old has enjoyed a busy start to life with the Seagulls. So far, Lallana, who cost Liverpool £20 million in 2014, has started six games for Albion, who sit 16th in the Premier League table.
