Liverpool beat West Bromwich Albion 2-1 at Anfield on Saturday evening – and their players have taken to Twitter to celebrate.

The Reds were looking to get back to winning ways having drawn 0-0 with Manchester United on Monday, and they once again underlined their title ambitions with a win over West Brom.

Sadio Mane put Liverpool 1-0 up when he turned Roberto Firmino’s cross into the net, and Philippe Coutinho then collected a pass from Mane before driving home to make it 2-0.

West Brom did grab a consolation goal as Gareth McAuley pulled one back for the Baggies, but Liverpool grabbed all three points to move joint top of the Premier League table.

After the game, Liverpool players took to Twitter to send messages to supporters, with Firmino commenting on the celebration dance between himself and fellow Brazilian Coutinho.

Goalkeeper Loris Karius celebrated a huge win for the Reds, with the German clearly delighted to have moved to joint top of the Premier League table.

Defender Nathaniel Clyne and midfielder Jordan Henderson also sent messages on Twitter to celebrate the win, before goalkeeper Simon Mignolet looked ahead to the midweek EFL Cup tie against Tottenham, which the Belgian could play in having been on the bench against West Brom.
