Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane scored in the FA Cup on Saturday.

Graham Roberts has predicted on social networking site Twitter that Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane will beat Clive Allen’s record of 49 goals in a single season.
Former Tottenham forward Allen scored 49 goals in 54 appearances for Tottenham during the 1986-87 season, according to the North London club’s official website.
It is the best goal tally from a single player in a single season in Spurs’ history, but former Tottenham defender Roberts believes that star striker Kane will break the record.

Roberts made the prediction following Tottenham’s 1-1 draw with Newport County away from home at Rodney Parade in the fourth round of the FA Cup on Saturday evening.
England international striker Kane scored the equaliser for the Premier League club in the tie.
The 24-year-old has scored 21 goals already in the Premier League so far this season, and has six goals to his name in the Champions League.

Former Tottenham defender Roberts has backed Kane to break Allen’s record of 49 goals in a single season for the North London club.
