Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur played out an entertaining 2-2 draw at Anfield today.

The Reds looked to be closing in on a big three points after Mo Salah fired them ahead inside three minutes.

But Tottenham grew into the game more and more and Victor Wanyama hammered home a superb equaliser with 10 minutes to go.

And former Spurs strikers Roberto Soldado and Gary Lineker, among others, were on hand to give their reaction on Twitter.

Harry Kane #10 of Tottenham Hotspur reacts in the second half against Roma during the International Champions Cup on July 25, 2017 at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, New Jersey.

There was further drama a few minutes later when Tottenham were awarded a controversial penalty, but Harry Kane couldn’t beat Loris Karius.

It looked like a costly miss as Salah scored what seemed a certain winner in stoppage time with a wonderful solo effort.

But there was an even bigger twist in the dying moments as Mauricio Pochettino’s side were awarded another penalty after Virgil van Dijk was adjudged to have fouled Erik Lamela, and this time Kane made no mistake.
