Everton are reportedly attempting to sign Anderlecht midfielder Leander Dendoncker, with Ronald Koeman planning his summer transfers.
Roberto Martinez’s glowing praise about Leander Dendoncker, which were covered by Sporza earlier this season, should excite Everton fans, after the current transfer links.
Everton have reportedly sent scouts to watch Dendoncker recently (The Sun), with Ronald Koeman’s side preparing a bid for the Anderlecht midfielder.
And Belgian boss Martinez, who used to be in charge of Everton, is a known admirer of the 22-year-old.

“Whether he’s a midfielder or a defender? He can take both positions. He’s a great guy and his answer is always:” I play where you need me,” Martinez said.
“He is disciplined, rests on the ball and has technical and physical qualities. He has already played a lot with Anderlecht.”

Dendoncker has generally played as a midfielder for Anderlecht this season, but it remains to be seen whether Koeman would think that the youngster could be converted to a centre-back at Everton.
The Toffees have limited options in defence, but are well stocked for midfielders.
If Everton did sign Dendoncker it would be a signal of intent ahead of the new campaign.
The composed midfielder has already been linked with a range of clubs across Europe, with his profile increasing rapidly.
If Dendoncker does move to Goodison Park, he is likely to be one of a number of new additions, with Koeman’s side anticipated to be extremely active in the summer transfer window.
