Everton have won just one Premier League match to date.

Everton have made a slow start to the season, despite spending more money than ever before in the transfer window.
The Toffees have won just one of their first five Premier League matches, and they currently sit in 18th place in the table.
Ronald Koeman has come under pressure already, despite the vast amount of changes that have been made at Goodison Park recently.

But Martinez does not believe that Everton fans are being unrealistic with their demands on the team.
“Winning is the best formula to get people together in any new project,” Martinez said.
“You can understand the expectation, it’s the biggest investment that they have ever had in the Premier League.
“I always felt that Everton will be competing to win silverware and the fans feel that. The Europa League brings an extra difficulty, and I’m sure that combination takes time to settle in.”

Everton did manage to relieve some of the pressure building on them by beating Sunderland 3-0 in the Carabao Cup.
The Toffees were comfortable winners over the Championship opponents, to make it through to the fourth round of the cup.
Everton are next in action at the weekend, when they take on Bournemouth at Goodison Park.
