Roberto Carlos is hoping that his old club go out and target Tottenham Hotspur star Dele Alli in the near future.
Tottenham’s Dele Alli celebrates scoring
Real Madrid legend Roberto Carlos has told The Sun that Dele Alli is already good enough to make the move to the Bernabeu, and insisted that Los Blancos could sign the Tottenham star.
Alli has enjoyed another brilliant season at White Hart Lane – in only his second year as a Premier League player – helping Spurs establish themselves as Chelsea’s nearest challengers in the title race.
His 17 goals in just 33 games leaves him sixth in the division’s scoring charts, only behind the likes of Harry Kane, Diego Costa and Romelu Lukaku, and ahead of Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
And Carlos has suggested that the 21-year-old would be able to make an impact if he did join the La Liga giants and suggested that he would like to see him make the switch.

“He’s a brilliant player. I love him, I’ve seen him play some great games in England,” he told The Sun.
“Of course, it’s not up to me — transfers will, of course, be decided by the president.
“But, we definitely could sign him. He is undoubtedly good enough for Real Madrid.”

The Sun reports that Alli is already on Madrid’s radar, and Carlos’ endorsement will surely strengthen their desire to land the England international at some stage in the future.
And the growing impression that the attacking midfielder is making across Europe should perhaps persuade Tottenham to make sure that they show plenty of ambition in the summer window to give them the best chance of winning the trophies that will make Alli feel that he has no reason to look elsewhere.
