Robert Snodgrass spent last season on loan at Aston Villa from West Ham United.

Snodgrass spent the 2017-18 campaign on loan at Championship rival Villa from Premier League club West Ham.
The 31-year-old winger had a successful spell at Villa Park, as the Scotland international scored seven goals and provided 14 assists in 41 Championship starts for the Villans, according to WhoScored.
Snodgrass – who earns £40,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com – has established himself as an important player for West Ham this season, making eight starts and five substitute appearances in the Premier League, providing one assist in the process, according to WhoScored.
The former Leeds United and Norwich City winger has suggested that his plan in the summer transfer window was never to go back to Villa, but to establish himself at West Ham.

Snodgrass told The Daily Mail: “I had a fantastic time at Aston Villa last season but I was always looking at coming back here and giving my best. I am happy to be here and being part of the project that’s going on.”
Going strong
Snodgrass was brilliant for Villa last season, but Dean Smith’s side are doing well without the Scotland international at the moment and are challenging for the Championship playoffs.
