The West Ham United winger is currently on loan at Aston Villa.

It is fair to say that Robert Snodgrass’s move from Hull City to West Ham United did not go according to plan, but a loan switch to Aston Villa has at least seen the 30-year-old start regularly and play a part in the recent resurgence for Steve Bruce’s men.
That said, while the Scotland international has been a constant starter since his arrival, a return of one goal and one assist in seven appearances is far less than would be expected of an experienced top-flight player with a point to prove and the perfect stage on which to do so.

The Villa loanee really should be seizing this chance with both hands, scoring and assisting regularly and proving his doubters wrong in the process.
He need only look at fellow Villa winger Albert Adomah as inspiration, with the previously overlooked wide man returning in superb style to score five goals and set up two more in just 10 games, so what chance Snodgrass following suit?
He certainly has the potential to do just that, with his outstanding delivery into the box one of the reasons West Ham moved for him in the first place.

With Villa possessing two exciting forwards in Jonathan Kodjia and Keanan Davies, the loanee should have plenty of targets to aim for, but for now he is playing well below his best.
Despite a recent setback against Wolverhampton Wanderers Villa will be hoping to mount a serious promotion push between now and May, but to do that they will need Snodgrass to up his game.
