The West Ham United winger’s arrival at the club has coincided with a renewed sense of optimism amongst the supporters.
Hammers new-boy Robert Snodgrass spoke to the club’s official website during an exclusive interview, and highlighted what will be a strange experience for him when his side take on West Bromwich Albion at the London Stadium on Saturday.
The 29-year-old has made an instant impact for Slaven Bilic’s side, since completing his move to the club at the end of last month, adding a much needed level of creativity and flair to the West Ham starting line-up.
And Snodgrass, who has already made two appearances for the Hammers, discussed his side’s upcoming game against the Baggies at the weekend, when speaking to WHUFC.com, sharing how it will be a strange feeling lining up against former Hull City teammate Jake Livermore:

“It will be very weird playing against Jake as it has not been that long since we last played together. It will be strange and they have also got a couple of the Scottish lads – Morrison and Fletcher and it will be good to come up against them but I want the three points for West Ham.”

West Ham currently sit in ninth position in the Premier League table, and after the January arrivals of Snodgrass and Jose Fonte, the Hammers fans once again have genuine optimism that their side can mount a sustained push for the final Europa League spot.
