Before his international retirement, Celtic captain Scott Brown would have played alongside Robert Snodgrass for Scotland.

Robert Snodgrass has lauded Scott Brown on Instagram for ‘still charging on’ after the Celtic captain helped his team record a 3-1 victory over Kilmarnock in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday.
West Ham winger Snodgrass would have played alongside Brown during their time with Scotland, so he would be well aware of the qualities, both on and off the pitch, that Brown has.
Nonetheless, Brown ensured that Celtic maintained their three-point lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership table, with Odsonne Edouard netting a brace and Ryan Christie getting the third goal at Parkhead.
After the game, Brown sent this message from his Instagram account, as Snodgrass issued this brilliant six-word response to his fellow countryman.

During the first few games of the season, Lennon and his players were being questioned, especially from a defensive standpoint.
But they put that right and answered their critics when they beat their Old Firm rivals in a comfortable fashion at Ibrox, with Brown leading the charge from the middle of the park.
Since then, Celtic haven’t looked back and they will be looking to continue their recent good run of form when they take on Partick Thistle in the Scottish League Cup on Wednesday night.
It is set to be a busy period for the Bhoys because along with Premiership football, they are involved in League Cup and Europa League action before the international break hits domestic football once again next month.
