West Ham United winger Robert Snodgrass has taken to social networking site Twitter to congratulate Liverpool defender Andrew Robertson on being named as the Scotland national football team captain.
Liverpool left-back Robertson has been appointed Scotland’s new captain and will lead his country for upcoming match against Belgium and Albania.
West Ham winger Snodgrass is pleased for his Scotland international teammate and has congratulated the 24-year-old, with whom he played at Hull City as well.

Robertson has been superb for Liverpool since his move from Hull in the summer of 2017 for an initial transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £8 million.
The former Dundee United star has established himself as an important player in Jurgen Klopp’s team at the Reds.
Snodgrass – who earns £40,000 per week as salary, according to potrac.com – has made himself as an important player for West Ham since his return from a season-long loan spell at Aston Villa in the Championship in the summer transfer window.
