Aston Villa beat Ipswich Town 2-0 on Saturday afternoon.

Aston Villa’s fine recent form continued on Saturday afternoon, as they beat Ipswich Town 2-0 at Villa Park thanks to two more Albert Adomah goals.
Villa went into the game off the back of three wins in four games, and were hoping to make it nine points in a week having beaten QPR and Sunderland.
Albert Adomah hit three goals in those two games, and he was at it again versus Ipswich, sneaking into the box before flicking the ball over goalkeeper Bartosz Bialkowski.

Adomah then made it 2-0 at the break, racing clear before slipping the ball past Bialkowski, with the aid of the post as Villa sealed another win.
Villa lie fourth in the Championship table, just five points off an automatic promotion place, and Ghanaian international Adomah is deservedly taking all the plaudits right now.
After the game, Villa players took to Twitter to react to the win, with loan winger Robert Snodgrass calling his teammates ‘troops’ after a superb win.

Playmaker Jack Grealish praised Adomah’s display, also hailing the ‘great support’ at Villa Park, with fans roaring their side on to a brilliant victory.
Defender Ahmed Elmohamady celebrated a great week for Villa, in which they took nine points from a possible nine, strengthening Steve Bruce’s push for promotion.
