Aston Villa won in the Championship on Monday.

West Ham United-owned Aston Villa winger Robert Snodgrass has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his delight at his side’s win against Bristol City.
Villa hammered City 5-0 at home in the Championship on Monday afternoon, with Snodgrass scoring twice.
The former Leeds United and Norwich City winger, who joined the Villans on a season-long loan deal from Premier League club West Ham in the summer transfer window, found the net first in the 34th minute and then on the hour mark.

The 30-year-old Scotland international has expressed his delight at the win for Villa and has also praised the Villa Park fans for their support.
Villa forward Jonathan Kodjia and winger Ahmed Elmohamady have also taken to Twitter to revel in the win for Steve Bruce’s side.

The win against City at Villa Park on Monday afternoon means that Villa are now fifth in the Championship table with 44 points from 26 matches, five points behind second-placed Derby County.
Snodgrass joined West Ham from Hull City in January 2017 for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £10.2 million.
