The West Ham United play-maker has recently returned to the first-team fold, having missed the entire season through injury.

West Ham ace Robert Snodgrass spoke to reporters, in the aftermath of his side’s hard-fought 3-1 win over Fulham on Friday night, and admitted that it is great to have Manuel Lanzini back involved with he first-team, as quoted by the club’s official website.
The Hammers hadn’t won a Premier League game since their 1-0 victory over Arsenal last month, so Friday night’s win was massively important for Manuel Pellegrini’s side.
West Ham now sit in ninth spot in the Premier League table, four points adrift of seventh placed Watford, and with a strong finish to the season, they will have every chance of finishing inside the Europa League places.
And with Lanzini back involved with the first-team, Pellegrini will be confident that his team can do just that.
Snodgrass explained how the Argentine’s performances in training recently have made Pellegrini’s decision to reintegrate him into the first-team squad for match-days very easy, as quoted by the club’s official website:

“It’s great to see Manu back. He has been through a tough time with his injury and the manager has put him right in because he looks good in training. He’ll want to get some minutes under his belt – we will hopefully see the best of him in the run in.”
Next up for West Ham is a tricky trip to the Etihad to take on Manchester City on Wednesday night, and Pellegrini’s troops will have to be on their very best form, if they are to take a positive result back with them to east London.
Whether Lanzini has done enough to start the game, however, remains to be seen.
