Aston Villa reportedly want to sign Robert Snodgrass from West Ham United in the summer transfer window.

West Ham United winger Robert Snodgrass has told The Daily Star that he is happy at the club, and perhaps it is an indication that Aston Villa will fail in their reported pursuit of the former Norwich City star.
According to The Birmingham Mail, Villa want to sign Snodgrass on loan from West Ham in the summer transfer window.
It has been reported that Villa manager Steven Bruce has asked West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini about the former Leeds United winger – who earns £40,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com.
The Scotland international spent the 2017-18 campaign on loan at the Villans, scoring seven goals and providing 14 assists in 41 Championship starts, according to WhoScored.
Snodgrass, though, has said that he is happy at West Ham and wants to his chance under Pellegrini, comments which suggest that Villa may not be able to sign him this summer.

“I have got a chance and I am comfortable, I’m happy,” Snodgrass told The Daily Star. “I always believed I could score goals and create goals and play in the team.
“I have done it since I was 15. In every league I have been in, I have always scored goals.”
West Ham United stay
Snodgrass has played in all three of West Ham’s Premier League games so far this season, and it would make sense for the former Leeds and Hull City winger to stay at the London Stadium for the 2018-19 campaign.
