Robert Snodgrass, now on loan at Aston Villa, joined West Ham United from Hull City in January 2017.

West Ham United-owned Aston Villa winger Robert Snodgrass has responded to David Sullivan’s comments about him on social networking site Twitter.
In a recent interview with The Guardian, West Ham co-chairman Sullivan said that his kids begged him not to sign Snodgrass from Hull City.
“The manager said he wanted Fonte from Southampton and Snodgrass from Hull,” Sullivan told The Guardian. “My kids begged me not to sign them.”
The Hammers signed the 30-year-old winger form Hull in January 2017 for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £10.2 million.
The former Leeds United and Norwich City star failed to make a massive impact at the London Stadium during the second half of last season.

The winger failed to score a single goal and provided only assists in 15 Premier League appearances for the Hammers.
Snodgrass joined Aston Villa in the Championship on a season-long loan deal in the summer transfer window.
The 30-year-old has scored two goals and provided five assists in 15 Championship matches for the Villans so far this campaign.
The Scotland international winger has responded to Sullivan’s comments on Twitter with sarcasm.
