Aston Villa defeated Burton Albion 3-2 in the Championship clash on Saturday.
Aston Villa are enjoying a superb run of form at the moment after registering their sixth successive league win over the weekend.
Steve Bruce’s side won 3-2 against Burton Albion at the Villa Park on Saturday, which was arguably one of their best performances of the season.
In-form striker Scott Hogan gave Villa the lead after excellent work from Robert Snodgrass and Albert Adomah.
The home side went 2-0 up through Adomah, who was being played in by Snodgrass. The Brewers pulled one back when Ahmed Elmohamady put the ball in his own net.
In the 88th minute, Jack Grealish scored for the home side to make it 3-1 before Liam Boyce scored a consolation goal for the visitors.
After the match, several Villa players expressed their reaction on Twitter, and one of them was Snodgrass. He praised Grealish for his performance, saying “absolutely buzzing” for his teammate.
The 30-year-old forward, who joined Villa in the summer on loan from West Ham, is enjoying a brilliant season.
He has scored six championship goals, and registered nine assists so far. With this victory, Villa have moved up to third in the table, 12 points behind leaders Wolves.
