Aston Villa fans are congratulating West Ham United winger Robert Snodgrass.

Some Aston Villa fans on Twitter have congratulated Robert Snodgrass for his performance for West Ham United on Saturday.
The West Ham winger earned an 18-minute cameo as Manuel Pellegrini’s side beat Manchester United 3-1 at the London Stadium.
It was the Irons’ most impressive and most exciting victory of the Premier League season so far.
Snodgrass spent the 2017-18 campaign on loan at Aston Villa, helping Steve Bruce’s side to the playoff final in the process.
The 31-year-old, who set up 14 Championship goals for the Villans last season, posted a message on Twitter shortly after Saturday’s triumph.
And here’s how Aston Villa fans responded to their star of last season:
What an asset Snodgrass could’ve been for the West Midlands side this season, but Bruce, who told The Mirror in August that he wanted to re-sign the Scot, failed to bring him back.
He is enjoying quite the resurgence in East London under Pellegrini and West Ham fans are taking quite a shine to him, after failing to impress them originally following a £10 million move from Hull City in January 2017.
