Robert Snodgrass took to Twitter to label the West Ham supporters outstanding after the Hammers came from behind to secure a draw with Huddersfield Town to ensure that Manuel Pellegrini’s men go into the international break in 13th in the Premier League.

The Irons fell behind during the early stages of their clash at the John Smith’s Stadium as Alex Pritchard’s somewhat speculative effort found its way into the bottom corner.

Pellegrini’s side certainly had their chances to equalise. However, they had to wait until 16 minutes from time to score the goal that would ensure that the points were shared.

Felipe Anderson started and ended a move that saw him score his third goal in two games following his brilliant performance at home to Burnley last weekend.

It was obviously not a display of that calibre this time around, but Snodgrass suggested on social media that the fans were on another level as they looked to bag the equaliser against David Wagner’s side.

West Ham may be closer to the bottom three than the top-half currently, but given that they lost their opening four league games this season, they have already enjoyed a remarkable turnaround. It will be absolutely no surprise if they quickly pull further away from the bottom three once the season resumes after the international break.
