The West Ham United winger shared his gratitude for the club’s amazing supporters.

West Ham ace Robert Snodgrass spoke exclusively to the club’s official website, and took time to offer high words of praise for the Hammers fans, labelling them as ‘incredible’.

The West Ham faithful are widely considered to be some of the best fans in the country, if not the best, and they backed their team to the hilt once again away at Fulham on Saturday.

And they must have enjoyed what they have seen recently.

The Hammers have won their last four Premier League games in a row, and they now sit in ninth spot in the table, just two points adrift of sixth placed Manchester United.

Snodgrass has played a key role in his side’s recent success.

The Scot has racked up an impressive four goals and seven assists in 19 appearances in all competitions thus far, but he told the club’s official website how the fans deserve a lot of credit for his side’s recent resurgence:

Robert Snodgrass of West Ham United applauds fans after the Premier League match between Fulham FC and West Ham United at Craven Cottage on December 15, 2018 in London, United Kingdom.

“They sang from the start and they were incredible. I think the most important thing is putting performances on for the fans. It was freezing cold on Saturday night against Fulham and they travelled down and sang from start to finish. We really appreciated it and they created such an atmosphere, and it’s important we have that connection between the fans and the players.”

Next up for West Ham is a home game against Watford on Saturday, and Manuel Pellegrini’s men could climb up to sixth place in the table with a victory, should results elsewhere go their way.

And with the Hammers faithful at their vociferous best, there is no reason why they cannot do just that.
