Snodgrass went on loan to Aston Villa from West Ham last season.

West Ham United winger Robert Snodgrass has told the club’s Instagram that he is delighted to have returned to the London Stadium, and commented on Manuel Pellegrini’s Premier League stature – as well as joking about his hair.
The 30-year-old joined West Ham in January 2017 but struggled to make an impact under Slaven Bilic, and was eventually loaned out to Championship side Aston Villa where he shone.
The former Leeds United, Hull City and Norwich City midfielder scored eight goals and created another 13 for Villa, as they reached the play-off final before losing to Fulham.
Since then, Snodgrass has returned to east London and Pellegrini has reportedly been impressed with the Scotland cap – enough so to keep him and give him a chance in claret and blue. He commented on his return and the manager.
“Yes it feels great to be back,” Snodgrass said. “It’s great to see some of the lads and show some of you West Ham fans what I’m all about and hopefully have a successful season.
“The manager is very good, he’s managed at the very top level. He’s one of the best managers to grace the Premier League, and he’s got unbelievable hair.”

Snodgrass completed his return to West Ham by coming off the bench in the Hammers’ 4-0 loss to Liverpool on Sunday, which saw Mo Salah, Daniel Sturridge score while Sadio Mane picked up a brace.
Snodgrass and West Ham will be looking to put that right this weekend, when they play host to Bournemouth at the London Stadium on Saturday. Snodgrass is likely to remain on the bench, with Andriy Yarmolenko and Felipe Anderson on the wings.
The set-piece specialist has two years remaining on his contract, earning a huge wage of £60,000 a week (Football London).
