Former Chelsea central defender Robert Huth has criticised Tottenham Hotspur Son Heung-min on Twitter for the penalty he won against Arsenal in the North London derby at the weekend.

Son earned Tottenham a penalty in the 34th minute when he went down inside the Arsenal box under a challenge from Rob Holding.

It was a controversial decision, and former Chelsea centre-back Huth was not impressed with the 26-year-old – who can operate as a winger or as a forward.

The 34-year-old German centre-back is a free agent at the moment, having left Leicester City at the end of the 2017-18 season.

Big win

Despite the controversial penalty decision, Arsenal won the North London derby 4-2 and are now above Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League table.

The Gunners were 2-1 down at one stage, but the way Unai Emery’s side launched a comeback in the second half showed just how good they can be.

Arsenal will probably struggle to compete with Manchester City for the Premier League title this season, but they can certainly finish in the top four.
