Robert Green joined Leeds United in the summer transfer window.

Leeds United summer signing Robert Green has told BBC Radio Leeds that Marco Silvestri is a quality goalkeeper.
Green, who is 36 years of age and joined Leeds in the summer transfer window, believes that Silvestri has proved himself in the Championship.
“He had a knock at the start of the season which ruled him out for a couple of weeks, but he is back, he is playing and he had a good game against Luton in the League Cup, which we kept a clean sheet and won,” Green told BBC Radio Leeds about Silvestri.
“The competition’s there and that’s what it is about. It’s heathy competition. It is always good at every club and at every position.
“He is a quality keeper. He has proved that he can play in the Championship, so it’s something that keeps me on the toes.”

Silvestri has been on the books of Leeds since the summer of 2014 when he joined from Italian club Chievo.
The Italian is a very good goalkeeper, but he is not the first choice between the posts for the West Yorkshire outfit anymore.
The 25-year-old made mistakes from time to time last season, and Green was signed in the summer transfer window in order to provide the Italian with competition.

Silvestri appears to have lost his place in the Leeds starting lineup, with head coach Garry Monk preferring former Queens Park Rangers goalkeeper Green.
In seven Championship appearances for the Whites so far this season, Green has kept one clean sheet.
Leeds are 18th in the Championship table at the moment with seven points from as many games.
The West Yorkshire outfit will take on Cardiff City away from home at the Cardiff City Stadium in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.
