Leeds are in the running for the Championship playoffs this season.
Leeds United goalkeeper Robert Green has revealed to The Yorkshire Evening Post what his parents have observed about his side.
The Whites are going strong in the Championship at the moment and are in the running for a top-six finish.
The West Yorkshire outfit are currently ninth in the standings with 23 points from 15 matches.
Leeds did not start the campaign well, but they have been in good form recently and are genuine contenders for the playoffs.
Green, who is 36 years of age and joined Leeds in the summer transfer window, has revealed what his parents have noticed about the goalkeepers.

“The start of the season was difficult but once we started buying into what the manager wanted us to do, it started paying off,” Green told The Yorkshire Evening Post.
“We had issues defensively which we addressed. After that, it’s not rocket science. If you don’t concede you can win by the odd goal and a lot of our games have been won or lost by one goal.
“My mum and dad watch most games and they say ‘we’ve not seen a lot of saves from the keepers’. I think that shows how tight it is.”

Green has established himself as the first-choice goalkeeper in the Leeds team and has been playing well so far this season.
Gary Monk’s side have become defensively stronger, and the fans are certainly loving it.
Leeds will return to action on Saturday afternoon when they take on Norwich City away from home at Carrow Road in the Championship.
Norwich, who got relegated from the Premier League at the end of last season, are currently fourth in the Championship table.
