Robby McCrorie has suggested that he is open to leaving Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers on loan in the summer transfer window.

The 21-year-old goalkeeper has been on the books of Rangers since 2013, but the Scottish youngster has yet to make a competitive appearance for the first team.
The Scotland Under-21 international spent the 2017-18 campaign on loan at Berwick Rangers and had a loan spell at Greenock Morton during the 2018-19 season.
McCrorie has suggested that he would leave Rangers on loan again in the summer transfer window, and wants to following in the footsteps of Ibrox first-choice goalkeeper Allan McGregor.
McCrorie told The Scottish Sun: “I want to achieve what Allan has and I am aiming for the top. I don’t know what will happen next season as yet.
“But I’d be happy to go back out on loan again if Rangers don’t need me — hopefully for a full season.
“That would mean I would have played 18 months of first-team football. It will help me, and the club, in the long run.”

Leaving Rangers on loan
McCrorie is a very good and promising young goalkeeper, but he is unlikely to get much playing time at Rangers next season.
It does make sense for the youngster to go out on loan, perhaps to a club at the lower end of the Scottish Premiership or to a team aiming for promotion from the Scottish Championship.
