Harry Kane’s goal was not enough for Tottenham Hotspur to secure any points at Anfield over the weekend.

BBC Sport pundit Robbie Savage has urged the ‘frustrated’ Harry Kane to leave Tottenham because he thinks he is now too good for the club.
Savage suggested that Spurs are not going to win any trophies so Kane is better off moving elsewhere, as he agreed with Roy Keane’s idea that he should move to Old Trafford.
Kane has come through the ranks at Spurs and has been one of their star performers during that period as they are now going through a very sticky period.
Speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live on 606, Savage thinks that the time is right for Kane to leave his boyhood club and enhance his career.
“When comes the point for Kane to say ‘do you know what it’s time to move on’,” Savage told 606. “With this Spurs team, he’s not going to win anything. I know that they got to a Champions League final.
“Was it Roy Keane that said on TV that if I was Manchester United, I would just go and buy Harry Kane? You might say what are they going to win in the future. Not winning trophies for Manchester United, and playing for them, is far bigger than winning no trophies for Tottenham.

“What’s going to keep Kane? They’re not going to win anything this season. They are mid-table. They might get into the top-four. But is that good enough for Harry Kane? When you speak to the likes of Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs & Gary Neville. All the players who have won trophies, all the Man City players, the celebrations for the top players is to win trophies.
“Harry Kane is going to be a multi-millionaire wherever he goes. So surely when Kane looks back and says ‘you know what, I’m a multi-millionaire, but I didn’t win anything’ – Kane is a class act. Very, very good player. But staying at Spurs he must be getting frustrated because they’re not going to win anything, so surely you are going to have to move.”
Whilst there have been a number of senior Spurs players who have voiced their need to want to leave the club, a player like Kane won’t fall into that bracket.
He is too loyal to the North London outfit, and even though they are in a troubling period, he won’t leave them in this situation.
Whilst Kane could walk into many if not all the top European clubs, his sole focus right now will be to help Mauricio Pochettino get the club back on track.
