Robbie Savage has said on BBC 606 (6:38pm, April 11, 2021) that Tottenham Hotspur forward Son Heung-min will be embarrassed by his action against Manchester United today.

Son was involved in a controversial incident during the Premier League game between Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium today.

Edinson Cavani had a goal ruled out after VAR check because of a foul from Scott McTominay on Son.

The United midfielder caught the South Korea international forward in the face, and although it appeared to be a light touch, the Spurs star went down to the ground.

Former Derby County midfielder Savage has said that Son should be embarrassed by his action.

Savage said on BBC 606 (6:38pm, April 11, 2021): “I think Son will be embarrassed by his reaction.”

Disappointing result for Tottenham Hotspur

Despite taking the lead against United at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Spurs suffered a 3-1 defeat.

It was a very disappointing performance from Jose Mourinho’s side, but they are still in the race for the Premier League top four.

However, it is clear that Spurs need to step up their game and add consistency if they are to end up in the Champions League places.
